November Rain
The weather here is just crazy. One week we have record heat and the next record rainfall. They call this a November like storm with flood warnings for the lowlands. The only thing missing is the cool fall temps. The July warmth is making it muggy and nasty. I guess this is what the south feels like on a good day.
There is one nice thing about this poor summer weather: I feel no guilt over kicking up my feet and reading the new Harry Potter.

This rain has been good bike-commuting training weather. I’m gearing up to go car-free all winter. I can’t stand fenders unless it’s pouring… I’m now thinking this is a good excuse to have another bike - one with fenders, specifically for rainy days. I noticed your comment about a “rain bike” on Geoff’s blog. What else makes a rain bike to you?
