Loving My Camino

I admit it I used to be a browser floozy. Jumping to a new one every couple weeks. Looking for whoever could fill my surfing needs best. About a year ago that all changed.

I started using Camino full time. I never intended on keeping it too long but it just grew on me. It wasn’t as sexy as some of the others, like OmmniWeb, but it was solid and kept me with it’s consistent reliability. There was the also the extensions that made it easy to expand the capabilities of the browser. I personally loved of Cami Tools and it’s ability to synch bookmarks between my work and home computer.

Lately, I’ve been feeling a little itch to move on again. Camino seemed to be stuck while some other browsers were moving ahead. All the thing that I ignored at the beginning began to resurface and bother me. My browser of choice was just not able to keep up. Sigh.

Then this past Tuesday Camino 1.5 was released. All the features missing in the previous version were added in. Feed detection, session saving, spell check (which I definitely need need) and more. Ah my love for tis venerable browser was restored and my wondering eye ceased. Now and for the the foreseeable future Camino is the browser for me.
